The week that we never thought would arrive is finally here. I want to wish everyone a safe and relaxing Spring Break 2014. The students have been working very hard and deserve a little break, especially after dealing with all the havoc that Mother Nature has caused this year. All the classes have wrapped up their units and will begin new units after Spring Break. After we return, the English 11 students will begin their research paper and English 12 will begin reading Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman.
Just a reminder that the 3rd Nine Weeks ends on Thursday, April 3rd. Be sure to check Harmony and turn in any missing work. All assignment sheets can be found by clicking on the "Previous Weeks Plans" links on each class website and finding the page for the week that the work was assigned. All work is due by Friday, April 4th to be counted towards this quarter's grade.
I am really looking forward to the last 46 days of school. During that time we will be doing some new units that I have not taught before, as well as completing my favorite unit in each class. It is going to be a mad dash to the finish, so make sure you get plenty of rest this week and come back recharged and ready to finish the year strong!
