We are officially in the stretch run of the first semester. Just a reminder to stay on top of your grades and ask questions when you are unsure of your grade or what you are missing. All assignments can be found by following the "Previous Weeks Lessons" links on the left of the screen. I will accept late work for a 20% penalty, but do not wait until the end of the semester to turn things in. If you don't let yourself fall behind, the semester will end very smoothly for you.
As an additional reminder, English 10 uses a 45/45/10 calculation to calculate semester grades. This means that each nine weeks is worth 45% of your grade and the final exam is 10%. Composition just uses a total points system so the total points earned divided by the total points possible will be your semester grade. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me.
