Things are off to a terrific start at Southern Wells Jr./Sr. High, and in room 122! Both students and teacher are adjusting to the new technological way of life. The students have taught me just as much about the Chromebook as I have taught them about English! We are starting to get into the meat of our curriculum in all classes with English 11 starting The Crucible this week, English 12 starting their first major essay, and Advanced Composition chugging along with writing about 1,000 words a week. Not only are exciting things happening inside the classroom this week, but outside as well with it being Homecoming week. Make sure you participate in the dress up days (Twin Tuesday, Western Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Football Friday) and I hope to see everyone at the game on Friday against Clinton Central for the return to Carnes Field! Go Raiders!
